Terms of Use
The rules for using JNR Builds, its part picker and its forum.
Last updated 23 September 2026
Use the guides for your own builds and link to them as much as you like, but don’t republish them. Check compatibility and prices before you buy, because the site can be wrong. Building a PC is at your own risk. Forum posts have to follow the rules below.
Who we are
JNR Builds is run by Joshua Ramdhanie (JRAM), based in Trinidad and Tobago. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Using the site and its content
- You can read and use the guides, part lists, glossary and ebooks for your own builds, and link to any page.
- You can quote short passages if you credit JNR Builds and link to the page.
- Don’t copy, republish or sell our guides, part lists or ebooks, in whole or in large parts, without written permission.
- Don’t scrape the part picker’s catalogue or its API in bulk, or use automated tools that put unreasonable load on the site.
The part picker, prices and compatibility
The part picker checks what its data covers: CPU socket, memory type, motherboard size, power supply wattage, and graphics card and cooler clearance where the parts list those measurements. It can’t catch everything. Always check the manufacturer’s specifications and manuals before you buy.
The part picker doesn’t show prices. Its Check price links open a search at Amazon, where the price at checkout is the one that applies.
Affiliate links
Some links on JNR Builds are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, JNR Builds earns from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. See the Affiliate Disclosure. We aren’t responsible for other websites, their prices, stock or checkout.
The forum
- Be civil. No harassment, hate speech, threats or personal attacks.
- No spam, advertising or undisclosed affiliate links.
- Don’t post illegal content, pirated software or other people’s private information.
- You keep ownership of what you post. You allow JNR Builds to show it on the site and keep it there as part of the thread.
- You’re responsible for your account and what’s posted from it.
- We can remove posts and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

No guarantees
JNR Builds is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate, but guides, specifications, compatibility results and prices can be wrong or out of date. Building or upgrading a PC involves mains power, sharp edges and static-sensitive parts, so follow your components’ manuals and work safely. To the extent the law allows, JNR Builds isn’t liable for damage to hardware, loss of data or other loss that comes from using the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Trademarks
Product names, brands and logos belong to their owners. We name them only to identify the products being discussed, and a mention doesn’t mean the company endorses JNR Builds.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and its courts deal with any disputes about them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
